Was at the pet store tonight to get some kittens settled in.. and as we were leaving, there was a guy in the parking lot with a pick up truck and a dog carrier full of American Bulldog pups. He supposedly is a breeder and was there to show the pups to some guy and sell one.

Mind you - the pups - 6-7 weeks old were in the carrier in AN OPEN TRUCK BED at 9 oclock at night - with a temp outside of 28* F. Grrrrrrrr!!!!! I think he said he drove there like that!!!


I don't think there is anything I could have done. I sure wanted to...

The buyer said this guy is the biggest Am. bulldog breeder in the state - doesn't mean he's reputable! What a
!!

Poor lil pups!

I don't think I could've held my tongue but my mouth starts before my brain can think about the repercussions.
Hopefully he at least had a blanket in the carrier to help keep the pups warmer then they would've been in just the carrier in the back of the truck. What an

I agree - not only was it cold out that night - but what if he got hit or was in an accident? Those pups probably wouldn't stand a chance!
