A group of judges/breeders/cat owners have organised a Virtual Cat Show, with all monies going to the wildlife affected by the Victorian bushfires.

Entries from all countries are welcome
$10Aus per entry, and a photo of your cat for judging.

Hi I'm going to enter this - probably just enter one kitten but yay one of my fellow NZCF judges is on there. He gave my Fluffy Best in Show last year!

As with any normal cat show ...grooming and vitality is Optimum ....(plus the picture I suppose, should not be blurry!)

Is there an HHP class? If so I would love to enter Radar (are overseas entries allowed?) Unfortunately he is too overexcitable to take to a real show and I didn't get him started early enough, but if it's by photo and with money going to help a good cause I am well up for it!

EDIT: Sorry I just looked at the site and got the answers to both my questions! I will get my camera busy!

Hush you! The only problem now is payment... no worries, I will work something out - probably via Sue J

I'm going to try and do an online international bank transfer or maybe use Paypal. Yeah I think I'll use Paypal.

My Mum's going to enter my old boy Elmo and I think Kieran may enter his Domestic Shorthair, Trixie.

I'd like to enter but I have some questions. Does PayPal have a place to indicate that the amount should be in Australian $$? It could get tricky trying to figure out the exchange rate at any given moment.

I'm a little confused on the groups and classes. Are the HHP (companion) cats and kittens all judged together, or do you mark both kitten and companion on the entry form? The entry form asks for the D.O.B., which is standard, but what if you want to enter a kitten picture of one of your adult cats? Is there any place to indicate the age at the time the picture was taken?

I'm having trouble opening the Entry Form on my Mac. Can I just put the information in an email instead of sending the official form?

I would send these questions to the Entry Clerk, but she is not available until after March 10.

In the meantime, I guess I need to start sorting through my pictures.

Has anybody entered their cat(s) in the Virtual Cat Show?

I entered two cats in the virtual cat show today - I went to do an electronic funds transfer for my bank but the fee was NZ$20 so it was going to cost me over $50!

I instead used my partner's paypal account with no fees!

I entered Captivating Twice Upon A Time (Bart) (Entire Kitten)

And my partner's cat, Trixie

I'm debating whether to add a couple more.

I ended up not entering the show BUT I did give one of the judges (whom judged my cats last weekend) some money to donate to the cause - I asked her to make it for payments towards rosettes (since I am a rosette maker after all...).

Fair enough I suppose

I got my kitties entered. Probably the only show they'll ever see.
