We've had two male kitties with us for just over two months now. Today, we received a call from a friend who does kitty rescue, and she may have found a home for one of our cats.
I know it's sometimes difficult to adopt them out as a pair, but I feel so guilty about separating them. Our boys are 6 months old, love to cuddle and play together, and cry when they're separated. One of them took so long to adapt to being indoors, I'm afraid that he'll be scared and lonely without his brother.
My feelings are clouding my good judgement. I just want to do what's best for these cats, but I'm having a difficult time being objective.
Should I let them go to separate homes? Please help.
