I get Wellness at Petco (canned) so next time will look for the Wellness CORE in canned and pick up a few (not the fish one).

What's the difference between the CORE and the plain ol' Wellness Grain Free? I feed the canned Wellness grain free and dry CORE to my little herpes girl.

All 7 of mine liked the chicken/turkey variety. Ordering my second case now. I limit fish to a small amount so I didn't get the fish variety.

It is a pate' style but a little softer than the regular canned Wellness.

The Wellness site says it has 20% more protein. In the ingredient list I don't see carrots, potatoes, etc that are found in the grain free canned.

Canned Core Ingredients: http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/cat_w...e_chicken.html

CORE has several meat protein sources, where as the grain frees are usually just one meat.

Oh & CORE is probably more expensive.
