That story is so played out. I wish the media would just let it die.

On a side note ......... I loved Sean Penn's acceptance speech.

It is so sad that the entertainment media cannot accept that Brad has left Jen, never to return.

And that she really doesn't give a flip.

Brad lost the minute he left Jen for that harlot IMO.

I dunno why but Brad Pitt seems to me like the kind of guy that is so influenced by Angelina, like he does w/e she tells him and has no individuality. I don't think he had much personality before Angelina either...I guess something about his facial features makes me feel that way abt him.

It's early days yet - let's see what happens in say 5 years which is a long time for a hollywood marriage.

I have read stories (who knows if they are true) that their household is chaos. I read where they were given the use of some guy's villa while they were in France but it bacame such a mess they were politely asked to leave.
I've read that Brad really wants to get married but Jolie won't hear of it.

BUT, my biggest beef with her is this, she is, supposedly, sooooo into kids and family, blah, blah, blah, but she won't even give her own father the time of day. I think if she is so family oriented she should end this estrangement with her father.

The novelty will definitely wear off. Based on her history, this woman does not have both oars in the water and I truly believe she has some mental issues. Her estrangement from her father confuses me as well.

I feel bad for those children - they are growing up in a very strange environment and I wonder how it will affect them as adults.

I have seen Jon Voight actually break down while talking about his estrangement from Jolie while he was being interviewed.

The only reason that I have ever heard for why she cut ties with her own father is because Jon Voight was so excited when she was going to adopt Maddox, her first child, that he accidentally broke the news to the press before she did.

Now, if that isn't the lamest reason to cut ties with your father who loves you dearly I don't know what is. If that story is to be believed anyway.

The reality is that anything any of us hear about them is probably not anywhere near the truth. Its their life, their choices and only they know what the truth is and they have to live those lives.

I can't stand A.J. and her history definitely shows some instability. She'll be moving on when the next one catches her eye, just as she always does.

I don't think it is quite that easy just to "move on", as she has 6 kids now.

As for the OP, I watched the clip and I didn't think there was anything snarky about her reaction.

I guess I have a different take on the whole Angelina thing than others do. I really like her, always have. Yes, she has issues - who doesn't? And especially...who in HOLLYWOOD doesn't??? If you look at her early in life and her career, she was hard and cold. She was distanced from everyone and everything, and seemed like an adolescent who was out to shock as much as anything. Since she adopted her first three children, became a UN Goodwill Ambassador, and especially since she's been with Brad, she's softened. She's become more "human", has seemed to find her purpose in helping the children who need help in the world, and in raising her own children with the man she loves.

I looked at that Youtube thing that Cindy posted and my first thought was "They may be actors, but you can't act like you're in love ALL the time." I've never seen them together when they didn't act very much in love with each other and their children (well, except for doctored pics in the tabloids).

I'm sorry Jennifer Aniston got hurt. But that's life. Life sucks sometimes. People fall in love, they fall out of love, and they fall in love with other people sometimes. She's gotten over it, and has a new man and also seems happy. The media won't let it go. You don't have to be on Team Jen or Team Angelina - come on...is Brad really worth that to the rest of us??

Cindy, as far as Angelina and her father, that goes back LONG before she adopted her first. They were on the outs when she was married to Billy Bob Thornton, and probably long before then. I think they were working on a reconciliation when she adopted Maddox, and then he betrayed her (in her mind) again by announcing it.

I just wish she would reconcile with her father. If he should drop over dead suddenly, she would feel really bad I would think.

To be honest, it was common knowledge that Brad Pitt wanted children BAD with Jennifer but she didn't want to put her career on hold to have kids.
She put her career first and lost her husband for it, pretty much that is how I saw it anyway, for whatever it's worth.

Well, I believe in the old adage, where there's smoke, there's fire and the gossip-mongers are saying lots of things about problems in their relationship. I don't think it will be long now before the whole thing blows up and they'll be an ex-couple. I believe she's a good actress and that's why she is putting on the big show that she has softened with the children but I think behind the scenes she is just as hard and cold as before. Even Billy Bob Thornton said she's going through her "college-boy-type" phase and that it will pass.

As for Brad, I never found him particularly attractive to begin with so I had a hard time seeing what everyone was so ga-ga about.
