...Cairo is now a proven queen.

First time for both of our newbies. Rome and Cairo have 5 beautiful rosetted kittens, born today. Cairo did it all by herself with no assistance from us.
She's a champ.
We have not inspected these babies yet, but we're expecting some amazing kittens.
You might imagine how nervous we were.........2 never before mated cats, with Cairo being a first time queen. You'd think she'd have done this several times before.

How lucky are we, that she's such a good mom.

Congrats - looking forward to more spotted babies. But doesn't it make you a little sad that your baby boy is now a daddy????

Congratulations from me too!

A Bengal went Supreme at the show I was at on the weekend "Prowlers Rock Star" - it was absolutely stunning.

I checked Rock Star out. Nice cat. He's from the drinkwater line.
Rome is a drinkwater cat as well.

Thanks. Nope not one bit sad. On the contrary, been waiting for this moment. If Rome produces like his full brother London, these will be our best cats ever. I'm looking foward to watching his kids grow.

btw: Rome doesn't know he's a stud cat.
No spraying and he's sweeter than ever. He and Cairo are lovebirds, they've grown up together. A few weeks before her due date, when we removed her from his room, she refused to eat for several days. Finally desperate, we returned her to him, and she ate instantly. She stayed with him, gave birth and he probably helped. He seemed proud to show off his kids.
We've never allowed this before. First time for everything!
Cairo is now in the house with her babies and eating fine thankfully. I know Rome misses her.

Yup his Daddy is a drinkwater. Rachelle is doing so well with her lovely Bengals!

I think he may clean up the Nationals this year

I'll post some pictures when they are a bit over a week old. Rosettes look to be plentiful and huge.

Looks like mostly females in the litter. Woohoo!

Cairo is a doting perfect first time mom. Again, Woohoo!

Ain't mother nature grand?
