My cat has dandruff. Got any suggestions on how to treat it?

My cat doesn't like water so I don't know if I can us some kinda dandruff shampoo on her.

My kitty has flakes and my vet said that I could put fish oil in her food. You may want to take check with your vet first.

Also, depending on the climate where you live it might be due to the type of heat, e.g. during the winter months here it gets very dry indoors unless you have a humidifier to put moisture back in the air. This type of dryness can contribute to dandruff.

Yeah, it's been a very bad winter here in years.

It's probably the dry heat and dry air.

Good idea! I'm going to ask my vet about that. Minka has beautiful, silky fur but her skin flakes as well.

Squeeze a capsule of salmon or fish oil on her food 3 x a week.
