Saturday! What are Your Plans?

Morning All!!

A frosty one here this morning -23C with a windchill of -31C.

I decided it's a good day to stay inside and just putter. I am thinking of working on some quilt patches this afternoon. I have several started so I guess it would be nice to finish a couple of them.

Making a pot of beef barley soup for dinner and will bake some biscuits to go along with it as well.

My niece is stopping by for dinner which is nice since I don't get to see her to often.

The kitties are good but not liking the cold weather, to chilly to window watch so they are all in my bed snoozing.

I tried to sleep in..but ended up getting up at 8:30am

I have been sitting here on the computer since then and now I am eating breakfast.

Josh is writing an exam and should be back after noon..then we will likely have a nap..(or he will and I will clean because I am not even tired). Sometime soon I will have a shower.

No real plans for the day after that

Pretty frosty here too! I think it's minus 39 Celcius with the windchill!

I'm going to get my hair done today. I can't wait!

I'm working right now, but only until 12. We used to open at 7 too, but they pushed it back till 8 because of the economy and we weren't doing much business. So I got to sleep in an extra hour today.

We just had breakfast from a local diner. I had a Greek omelette and it was really yummy!

Working out when I get home and cleaning the apartment. We were supposed to go meet with a wedding photographer this weekend, but it's supposed to snow a bit, so we might push it till next weekend. We're only supposed to get 2-5 inches, but with the higway we have to drive, I don't want to risk it. One time there was a storm, there was a 59 car pile up. I don't want to risk it.

My plans are to go to petsmart for some better kitty litter, and get everything back in order at my house. It seems like I let things get out of control during the week and I'm always in panic mode because I have tests and papers due. Today I plan to relax and take it easy and clean up and make my environment more enjoyable

Its snowing here, so I'm going to stop procrastinating and figure out my taxes today. Cross my fingers that I get something back this year.

Lovely sunny day, but chilly. Just when I thought Spring was finally coming...
I have to drag myself out to do some shopping, and put together a new cabinet later on. Boy, it's shaping up to be an exciting Saturday!

I'm going apartment hunting, packing up some moving boxes, and getting a bang trim. I can't wait to move out of this current place! My roommates are harassing me.

Good morning

Today I'm going to try and organize more in the house and bring some stuff over from the in-laws (since my BIL moved all our stuff into different rooms over there ) to sort through. Rob is at work Boo.

Its supposed to be about 75ºF again today, which will be nice. It was pretty outside this morning when I tried to let Katina in. Looks a little dreary though and is supposed to rain. (And then tomorrow its dropping down into the 20s at night with a "chance" of snow ).

Then tonight is date night. I think we're going to get some Mexican tonight. I really have been craving chori-pollo. And we got a bunch of coupons in the mail for restaurants the other day so we can use them!

We'll probably watch Madagascar 2 when we get home.

Good afternoon. Warm and rainy here today. Not sure what we have planned for today. We may go out for lunch, dunno.

I got home late last night from the Sewing Expo up in Puyallup, WA... and I didn't get much slep up there due to a friend's snoring. (four of us shared the hotel room)

So, I slept in this morning and am still exhausted. Today will mostly be a veg-out day. I need to finish unpacking the car, and some laundry is in order... but relaxing is the primary focus. I have a couple errands to run, but I'm hesitant to leave and drive anywhere today... I'm too tired... we'll see.

Well I got the basement in order for seed starting!!

And my accountant just finished balancing my books so we just have to do the general ledger and trial balances!!

And I have 4 of the 8 valance pieces sewn.

Plus two loads of laundry washed and put away!

Slowly making progress-I wanted to see a movie and dinner out but I guess we are pushing that until tomorrow.

We are having the interior of our townhome painted next week. We picked out colors with the painter this morning. He is also going to install some new light fixtures for us. The old ones we currently have are ugly We are going out for Indian food for dinner with a friend. We have to straighten our house and re-locate our stuff that is on display on top our furniture and remove our artwork from the walls this weekend. Also need to get my laundry done and put away. We will also probably bake some peanut butter cookies and watch a movie later.

I just got home from my weekend class! It's a 1.5 credit class crammed into Friday from 5-8, Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 10-5. It's on English Language Learners in the classroom. It's actually pretty interesting and the professor keeps the class moving. I feel like I'm getting a lot out of it and will be able to apply in to my student teaching in the fall.... but it's so much to take in!

My boyfriend is taking me out to dinner later to make up for my exhausting day. I'm defiantly ordering a drink to unwind! lol
