I have no idea why! He is also very eager to go out into the garage ...maybe he is mad that I still keep him in one room while no one is home and wants freedom in the entire house. I'm thinking it could also be because of the storm, there was thurnder and lightening and he was home all alone ...maybe that freaked him out. But he isn't purring as usual and runs away more often...

It is probably the storm... But why he stays in a room when you leave? Just curious...

Because I'm scared of him running outside as soon as someone opens the front door to the house or the garage door. He is always trying to escape
I guess it's because he is a kitten, he's never been outside in his entire life and he is curious....Hopefully this will pass soon..

It will pass... Yeah, he is just curious... Do you have a window perch that he can lay on and watch the world outside?

He recently started to be interested in the world outside. His cat tree is next to a window and lately he has been looking out and assuming a stalking position at the sight of birds or when he hears birds from outside...

Yea, lol he does chase things that are on the TV also, jumping up to the screen trying to catch the moving things
The thing that seems weird is that, I've seen many cats looking out windows, but they all look really calm ...Jake looks like he is about to jump out of the window and chase the leaves and birds and everything moving! He gets really into it, which is probably why he wants to go out so badly... I'm guessing that's because he is still a baby...
