Friskies always made my cats have horrible smelling bowel movements!!O now feed only grain free wets and some raw and no more bad smelling poops!!
I think it boils down to the quality of the ingredients going in,how bad it will be coming out!
good luck and I hope you figure it out.

I feed my two Authority canned and no smelly poops here. I feed Friskies Mixed Grill occasionally and those poops might be slightly smellier. On both, the smell fades pretty quickly though.

In our recent rotation of "trying to find a food she will actually eat", I gave Coco a can of Friskies and that night we had a nice case of explosive diarrhea (contained in the litterbox thankfully). So...I'd blame it on the Friskies!

If adding the wet food is a recent thing, it could just be the wet food, no matter the flavor.

oh no, its not a recent think, i used to feed them 9 lives the wet niblets and gravy, but then when i heard friskies was the best low grade food i switched and come to think of it thats when bastian started having loose stools all over the house and the poops started smelling aweful.

it could be something as simple as the meat type being different or something a bit more complex like the artificial and natural flavors/colors used not agreeing with the cat .... If it were me I would sit down with old food and new food and note the ingredient differences.
