Our boys got a little brother last weekend – and to smooth things over we got them a cat tree. I finally found one that I was happy with and since I have never bumped into this companyâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s name here I thought Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]d mention them in case anyone was looking for a quality made tree/condo or scratching post.

I was pretty impressed with the quality, and I though they had some nice basic-to-complicated models to choose from. Some of the models had too small nests for our biggest boy (18lbs) though, heh. Here is their website:

http://www.wadescattrees.com/

We got the model C1B3 and boys love it. The three big brothers have tired themselves some extra so as not to be too hyped up about the new little guy which is exactly what we wanted! They love the sisal post that is on the post because even our big boy can get himself all straightened out on it, and the tree does not wobble when he lets it rip.

The trees have at least 3 different carpet colors to choose from. They were on the pricy side but I am hoping to get a lot of life out of this one. If you happen to be on the market for one, ask around if any of your local petshops happens to be a dealer and have a look. Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]d be interested in hearing if anyone else has one and how they have held up too?

I would be hesitant to use this website since no prices are given and they require one to e-mail them. I don't like giving my e-mail out to people I do not know. Maybe I'm just over-cautious but I wouldn't order from them at all.

Agree that the prices should be on there. I like the wishing well one. We saw some very unique tree houses at the last cat show - but they were too far out of my price range! (over $500 for some of them). Hubby will be building a new one in the spring - as soon as I figure out exactly what I want on it!

I know!!! I love that it goes all the way to the roof to lock it in place, giving a lot of stability and extra safety.
With 2 ragdolls, and Bugsy being a large one, I am skeptical of the other trees in the same price range...

I didn't like the website either and did not use it as I found the cat trees in a local shop. I just put it here since it was the only place I found on the net for them. I hate it when one has to give their first born to get information on some commercial product. Also their dealer list is totally hopeless on this site. Yet, they have their telephone number on the site if someone was really interested and could not find anything locally. And the pics on the trees are way better than some miniatures on some other sites/eBay.

I think the prices are not on the site because they probably vary depending where you buy them?? Like said products were pricy. I asked for couple and the B3 was $259 and the C1B3 was $329 in the shop I found them. I think the C1B4 was closer to $400. I do not know of the smaller ones as I was looking for a big tree.

Compared to a lot of trees that go here for $179-250 range, the quality of the $329 for me was superior. I also like the bunks with edges because my boys are 'floppy'. Two of them especially like to snuggle together, and while they pile on each other they tend to fall off things when it gets crowded... They also love to hang their heads over edges.

P.S. On the one I got, the bunks are different sizes. The top and bottom bunks are bigger than the 2nd and 3rd bases (we call then 1-3rd bases, home base and dugout).

My name is Wade Batterton, owner of Wades Cat Trees. We have been in business for about 15 years and focused on making well designed and constructed cat furniture . They are more expensive than some ,but the quality makes our trees a good investment. We hope the designs and construction are such that they are stable, sturdy and make sense for cats to use.

I agree, our website needs alot of work. Its challenging to get to just because I am the manager, bookeeper, salesman and do alot of the assembly. The website currently serves primarily our wholesale accounts and distributers to have access to pictures of the models. There are a number of relatively new models that I need to post on the site as well.

Our wholesale business serves an area from Va. up into New England. Only independently owned pet stores carry our trees, which includes some small regional chain stores. If you email me I can forward you contact info of pet stores near you where you can purchase. If they don't have the model you are looking for,it can be ordered through the store and usually in the store in about a week. I don't currently post prices on the web site because each store sets their own retail price. I don't want to attach a price to a tree thast then is different than what a store will sell it for.

My goal is to very soon update the web site to make it more user friendly.I will post prices that will include shipping. This price will generally be a little lore expensive than buying it retail due to the high cost of shipping cat furniture. It will also include links to a complete listing of pet stores that carry our trees.

We can ship anywhere in the country . You will need to email or call to get quotes as I will need your address to calculate shipping.

Thanks Wade Batterton

I have one of Wade's cat stands. Best ever. I ordered it directly from Wade, was shipped to Michigan. Yes, it took longer because I wanted a certain model but it was so worth the wait. The quality is 110%. Have three ragdolls and the stand looks just as good as the day it arrived. I'm looking to buy another but an undecided as to what I want this time.

Hoping Wade gets the site updated. All I need are pictures to make up my mind.

Hello Everyone,

I would just like to tell you that I have (3) of Wade's cat trees model C1B4, model T3P1 and model T1P1 I think they are the most wonderful thing I could do for my cats.  My cats are indoor cats because I live too close to a road so they do not go outside.  Also, my cats are really big!  When they race around the house I can feel secure that Wade's cat trees will not tip over like the other brands.  I have had my cat trees for many years now and I can say they are the best brand around and have stood up to many years of all the claws and they do not tip over when my cats jump on them no matter how they connect with them!!!  They may be a little more expensive then the cheaper brands but I know that I have not been disappointed.  I am also looking to buy another one this year but have not decided which one yet.

Thank you,

loveallmycats

I have one big Wade's cat tree and I just got one little one, and I think they're the best. Very high quality and lots of fun. My cats love 'em and so do I.

I got mine at a Cutter's Mill store in NJ... The website needs to have the "dealer locator" button fixed, as it doesn't seem to be working! In fact I just stumbled on this thread trying to find another store that carries them so I could see a wider selection.

Wade, I have two of your wonderful pieces that I purchased at the Big Bad Woof in Hyattsville, Md. I was ready to select another one from your web page and then order it through the Big Bad Woof, though your domain expired a couple of days ago according to the internet.  Do you have another web site or a brochure somewhere online, or maybe one I could get through old-fashioned snail mail? Or a storefront address I can visit in Philadelphia?  I'll try calling your phone too. Thanks!

It looks like they have not been back on TCS in quite a while.  If you don't get a response here you could try sending a Private Message to them as well.

Can anyone tell me if Wade's Cat Trees are still in existence?  Their webpage is no longer available on 4/9/2016.  Thanks.

I ordered a cat tunnel on 8/22 and then a big black hole opened.  Wade does not return my emails or phone calls, which just have an outgoing message.  This is so unprofessional
