Are leaving early this morning to go to our first show!

I don't think she's as excited as me!

We've got to drive 25 minutes to the airport get a hour flight and then drive 3 1/2 hours to the town the show is being held at.

So I'm hoping my girl, Captivating Sweet Escape "Fluffy" becomes a champion tomorrow!
She's already won two Best in Show Longhairs and One Reserve Supreme Longhair in show but I'll be happy with some challenges

Also it's my first judging appointment so hopefully I pass!

I'll be back on Sunday night!
Hopefully when I'm back my internet will be back up to full speed again so I can post some pics.

Sam

Ps. You can see my pretty girl here or on my website here she's the Red Tabby Bicolour on the front page

How exciting, for both you and Fluffy. Hope she's a good traveler.

Thanks. Fluffy had been to one long distance show before - about a 12 hour all round trip!

Thanks again to everyone for the luck and kind words!

Well it was a really small show but it was a good starting point for me. I had 10 kittens/cats all up. I passed my assignment! I need to judge another 140 cats before I am able to judge Entire Cats.

Fluffy only had 4 other cats against her - 1 Persian, 1 Exotic and 2 Maine Coons.

She ended up with 4 challenges from 4 judges (so she's now a champion) and she won Best Persian in every ring - she got two Reserve Best in shows and two Third Best in shows.

She also won 2 Best eye colour awards, 2 Best tempremants and under one of the judges she won Judges Choice.

We will not be so lucky at the rest of our shows with such small numbers.

Anyway now I can work on getting her up to grand -which requires 80 points. I think Fluffy was the highest scoring cat out of the 5 today, so that was a bonus.

Also - guess what. I forgot to take my camera *duh* so you'll have to forgive me and I
l'll take some pictures at my next show in April.

Thanks again everybody from Fluffy & I!

Thank you! I tried taking some of Fluffy with my cell phone but it's too slow. I've got 140 more kittens and N/S's to judge before I can judge Entire cats

Thanks!

I cannot judge Entire cats (which Fluffy is) until I've judged 140 Kittens and alters as stated above. Also I can never enter in the ring I'm judging which will only be an issue when I'm showing my kitten, Tales. I also cannot show under my Nana nor can she show under me.
