multi cat household eating habits

ok....in the AM i will wake up and right away all 3 are in the kitchen waiting, so i pick up their food bowls, give them each their portion on wet food and set it down for them, here come the wierd part. I always make sure they all get the same flavor at the same time, but yet half way thru their meals they will switch around to each other bowls


does anyone else cats do this or have some strange eating behaviour?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean but my husband and I are off today and I decided to make omelets for breakfast. I put the spinach in a strainer to drain while I was in the shower. When I got out I found Seti eating the spinach.

I only have two cats but they do this. I have one of those two sided dishes and divide one can up between the two sides and put it on the floor. About halfway through they switch sides.

Also when I refill their dry food which I free feed, they each feel the need to come and have one bite of it, even when theyâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve just finished their wet food and itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s the same exact dry food that is already in the bowl.

its seriously so cute but it cracks me up! Then if the trouble maker -Nipper- gets done before the rest he will headbutt one of them out of the way and try to finish theirs, thats why me of BF always have to supervise meal times.
