Can my cat catch my germs?

Ok. I'm siiiiick. And every time I catch a cold or flu or something, I worry about the possibility of my cat catching it from me. Is that possible? That's my question. And obviously I worry about giving to people too, but the heck with them, I'm worried about my cat. lol. And I know it's probably a stupid question. So is it possible?

I don't think it's a stupid question. After all, there are a few things we can contract from cats, so why not the other way round?

That said, you could always ask your vet, but I think that you're safe when it comes to colds and flu.
