Nimby and marble have been climbing up my leg! IT HURTS!!!!!! I'm going to try to get a pic of them doing it. I hiss at them and they jump down but then jump up again. I guess they want to cuddle with me but I'll pick them up i swear!! they don't need to climb up my leg!!

Val there is a way to stop this, and you should right away. Take a strip of soft cloth, and spread some vicks vapo rub on it, not a lot, a little goes a long way. Put the cloth around your ankles with the vicks facing out and tie it gently. The kittens will come running up, take one whiff from feet away, and turn around to find something less offensive to climb on. Your cat condo will be arriving soon right?

I will do that!! They have two little kitty condos in there room they are the small ones with the two cirle holes to climb up
but the big one should be here shortly! I let them play on the big one that moe and neo use when it is play with big kitty time, and they like that alot.

My kittens have been climbing my legs since they were first able to climb! I let them do it! They are so cute! I clip their nails once a week, so it does'nt hurt.

I don't like them get into bad habits.
Hubby used to let moe bite him and he still does!

When I adopted Hercules, he was 7 weeks old, he climbed all the way up to my shoulder. He can't do it now, he's too heavy! I don't think of it as a BAD habit, when they want on my lap, they have to climb, or jump to my knee and climb the rest of the way. When they can jump better, they won't have to climb me anymore. They climb because they can't jump all the way up when I'm in a chair, or I'm sitting somewhere else that's high up!
