Hi everyone,

Just to let you know, our cat Henry whom I have been posting about has been diagnosed with dry FIP. He has 80% liver failure, yellow skin, has lost over pound in a week, won't eat and his eyes are turning yellow. He has also balance problems and urinary incontinence. Even though his blood work initially stated that he didn't have FIP, due to these signs, and the fact that all his organs are heavily swollen, the Vet is 100% convinced its FIP. He is now at the vets on a drip and kidney protecter. We have to go and talk to the vet, to see what we can do. The likelihood is that we will have to put him to sleep as he is only getting worse. I would just like to thank everyone for all their help and support. xx

I am so sorry. I lost two cats to FIP in the last few months, and I know what you are going through. It is so tempting to have hope and to put off the decision, but the cat only gets worse. It is a horrible disease.

Just to let you all know that Henry went to Kitty heaven this morning. The vet said he had only 24 hours left, and it would have been unbearable for him considering that he wont eat and was unable to get up. We had to have him put to sleep. Thanks everyone for your support and advice. You are all one in a million! xx

I am so sorry for your loss - just remember that Henry is now healthy and playing over the bridge, and that you filled his life with love while you had him.
