Can anyone help me with finding out a name to a cell phone number?

One of my co-workers a young single mom non-USA native has been receiving text messages for about a week on her cell phone.

They started innocent but she has now received 14 and they are getting quite profane. Her cell phone provider cannot block the number? She was told to contact the police dept to file a report. I also suggested that to her.

English is not her primary language and she asked me some of the words (common slang-not profane) what they meant. I told her not to ever reply as that is what the person is probably looking for.

As an experiment I entered my phone number into some of the website and tried Googling it and I could find out some real simple info for free-not my name/address however.

Are there any free website or other ways to find the name of the person this phone number belongs to?? She is getting a bit worried.

In Canada we have Canada 411 www.411.ca which you can enter a # and find a name.... however, if the number is from a cell, all the info you get is " xxxxxxxx is a cell phone based in London, On, ON

I'm "assuming" if there is a US 411 that you'll get the same type of response, or number not found.

But you might get the general vacinity of the harassing caller's location, as in the search I did. I don't live in London.... but my cell is a London based number.
