I've been away for almost a week now and now I'm back! I was away on vacation. It was such a "spur of the moment" decision I never got around to tell you guys I was leaving
Last Friday we went with some good friends on a camping weekend to the sea of Galilee. It was great- BBQ by the beach, sleeping in tents, swimming in the lake (the sea of Galilee is actually a lake). As soon as we got back we decided to join hubby's parents who were spending a week in their holiday condo in Eilat. Eilat is the no. 1 resort in Israel. It's located at the southern tip of the country, by the gulf of the red sea, wedged between Jordan and Egypt. It's a 4.5 hours drive from Tel Aviv.
Eilat was very refershing. It's a small oasis in the desert- very hot with temperatures around the 100 degrees all the time. The beaches are georgeous - with a wonderful coral reef reserve along most of them. We tried to stay inside the airconditioned rooms during the hot hours, but we spent the early mornings in the local attractions and the evenings on the beach or going out.
We came back home yesterday and I have TONS of work to do. I hope I'll have enough time to spend here over the weekend and catch up with everything...
