Your Sleep Test Results:
You show symptoms of sleep apnea, a potentially serious sleep disorder. People with sleep apnea quit breathing repeatedly, often hundreds of times during their nights sleep.

You show symptoms of insomnia, which is defined as a persistent inability to fall asleep or stay asleep.

You show symptoms of narcolepsy, a life-long disorder characterized by uncontrollable sleep attacks during normal waking hours.

You show symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux, a disorder caused by acid "backing up" into the esophagus during sleep.

You show symptoms of periodic limb movement disorder, a disorder resulting in uncontrollable leg or arm movements during sleep.

I don't know about the narcolepsy, but I've already been diagnosed with the other three. I think they've gotten their narcolepsy questions wrong.

Hehe... this was no surprise:

According to this test, you do not show major symptoms of a sleep disorder; however, you should still contact National Sleep Dynamics or your personal physician for a consultation.

Heh, heh...nope no surprise.

I've actually taken several sleep tests where you wear the wires all night. They said I stopped breathing over 200 times in one night.

No sleep problems here. I used to wake up with a headache, and be fatigued all day, but not anymore. I started going to bed early, getting up early, and taking vitamins and now I don't have many sleep problems unless I don't get enough of it.

The only time I have a problem sleeping is if a cat wants petting! LOL! other then that, I sleep all through the night, but as soon as I hear a cat meow for some reason,(something out of the ordinary, not a normal meow) I'm up. just like a mom with a newborn.

Probably not. And even if you do have some of the symptoms, what if they're not bothering you? I wore a CPAP machine for a couple years because of the sleep apnea in order to sleep. I did get the best sleep I ever had, but my cats attacked the respirator tubing (LOL--I guess they thought it was a snake attacking Mommy) and punctured it so badly that it didn't work anymore. Right now I just get the sleep I can and go from there. My husband hardly ever sleeps and he snores like in the movies, but it doesn't bother him.

I answered truthfully and held back on some points. They told me I had the same thing as you. Now I don't neccessarily think this is true. This site is sponsored by people who want to sell their products.

But surely hearing LOUD purring and meowing right in your ear very early every morning is a serious sleep disorder?? And how about the 'hooning around the house really fast at 3am' disorder? I've heard that can be deadly!
