We have a 10 month old kitten, and we just got a new kitten a few weeks ago. She is about 2 months old.

The little one will lay with the older one and try to nurse off of her...like, sucking on her nipple, pushing against her belly, the whole deal. She'll do this a lot of times until she falls asleep. At first the big one didn't like it, but now she just deals with it.

The little one can't be getting anything from her, can she? Do you think it's just a way to comfort herself, being away from her mom? Is it bad for her to do this or should I just leave them alone?

It is just because the kitten has abandonment issues and wants comforting. I would spray the older cat with bitter apple spray in the area the little one likes to suckle. I would provide the little one a beanie baby or small stuffie to suckle instead. Poor kitten misses mom she should still be with mom until she is 12 weeks old at least.
