Tuesday's DT

I hope everyone's day is going well.

Little Liquorice is still a little black bundle of joy. He's decided it's quite good to lap a bit of kitten food from a saucer but still prefers his kitten glop. I think Vegemite thinks we bought him for her as a toy! They have spent all day playing together. I'm fighting a URTI at the moment - the antibiotics are like horse pills, they're so huge! LOL It's been raining pretty much all day here so it's a good day to keep warm inside. The kitties keep coming in wet, like they don't understand that when it's raining, you have to get undercover.

Oh, I feel for you. I'm just getting over an infection that I got the week before Easter. The only thing good about having to stay at home is that my furbaby Max loves to cuddle when I'm sick. Actually, Max likes to cuddle anytime, but when I am sick, I'm there to cuddle. Hope you get better soon.

I haven't felt like doing a single thing today..I had an allergy attack this morning, and it has taken a toll on me today..I can't breathe out of my nose, my throat is itchy, and my eyes are watery and I keep sneezing too...i hate feeling like this.....I have to at least get a little laundry done though....

Took my kitten to the vet today, he is finally better from the URI he had and could get his vaccinations today, he goes in tomorrow to the humane society where I adopted him from to be neutered on Thursday. I will worry about him soo much, since he has to stay overnight. I know he will be wondering whats up! Hes so very spoiled and loved. He is now up to date on his vaccinations and got him on Advantage too. Poor guy, it will be a tough week for him. I have so much to do today, I dont know why I'm sitting here on this computer, but oh well I will catch up. Its only laundry and it never ends anyway!

It's been a loooooooong day...I left Cleveland at 8 this morning to drive to my Dad's house in Maryland (that's where I am now). I hit horrible rainstorms with zero visibility in Ohio and lots of construction on the PA Turnpike. But, I have 3 days here (I came for my sis-in-law's college graduation) of being spoiled by Dad, so I guess it makes up for the yucky drive!

40 mins. and counting until I get off work. After that its off to Target to get some sandals and aloe vera gel (I got burned REALLY bad on Sunday when I went to a parade) and then I have some homework to catch up on.

Tomorrow, some reps from Dow Chemicals are coming to my work and its a HUGE thing. There are going to be banners everywhere and they are having a big reception for them, etc. I have no clue what the big fuss is all about, but I guess I'll know sooner or later. All I know is that I have to be extra friendly and welcoming tomorrow when they come in so that we make a good impression. Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes ok.

Its 103, again. Glad that Bill got the cooler going.

We started our Windows-based system training, today. After each module, there was a quiz. The computer kept sending me back to the beginning, after each one. At least, I passed all of the quizzes and this system is a lot easier, than the DOS system.

I left a letter, for Bill this morning. Don't know what's going to happen, as he isn't home, yet. Just in case, I looked at a couple of apartments, after work. The one closest to work is only $330, with a $100 deposit and $200 for the cats. I can do that and its only 5 minutes from work. I'd save a fortune in gas.

The other one is $469 and includes utilities. However, it smelled bad and some of the other tenants looked rather unsavory. The pet deposit is $400. I don't think so!

It's been a while since I've been on TCS. Well, I finally got a job. I'm an administrative assistand for the Chamber of Commerce. It's good because the hours are steady (8am-5pm). After 90 days I get full medical and dental benefits (and they don't deduct anything from my paycheck).

Other than that, It's cleaning for me. That never really changes, though. I think that was when I realized I was really all grown up, when I had neverending cleaning.
