Hello

For those of you with multi cat households I was wondering if you would like to put a picture up of your houses boss cat? The cat that rules the roost!

Certainly.

When I first adopted, I only had two cats - Sphinx (Now at the Rainbow Bridge) and Kuce. Sphinx was the alpha cat and he knew it. If he was still here, I think he would still be alpha cat - even at 23 years old.

Right now with three cats, it's a little harder to tell. Kuce (15 years - 16 in June) seems to be alpha cat (At least when it comes to Luvug.) Luvbug (8 going on 9 years in July) seems to be over Lil' Jag (4.5 going on 5 years in August). (It seems to be going in order of age and entrance into the household).

current boss cat is Cable.

she basically took Mouse's place as top cat - Pixel was always below Mouse, when there were just the 2 of them.
i already know who's in 2nd place, too - Firefox, the smallest one!

Spaz still rules, even at 15 and battling CRF and arthritis.
No one even dares challenge her, she rules pretty well with a stern look and a velvet paw.

Frankie is the queen of our castle. She even trained to put the foot on his recliner out for her to sit on in less than 2 days!

Though others in the household have fought valiantly for the crown, it is Queen Prissi who rules mightily from her window perch. With her stern look and legendary left jab, she is a ruthless dictator!

Peanut Butterum did, at one time, make an unsuccessful bid for the throne. But, her Majesty Diva Etcetera D'Calico was groomed from kittenhood to rule, and she does so with gusto.

Hey, don't leave us single cat owners out. I've never had more than 1 in the same place at the same time (I've currently got 2 on opposite sides of the globe, but that doesn't count) still I think I'm pretty certain on who the queen would be, if she would even suffer other felines in her presence (she drove all the other neighborhood cats off our property) :

That would be Gracie... Ferocious mouse, bird and rabbit hunter. Dog attacker. Supposedly 1/2 persian mix. She passed on to brighter mouse hunting grounds in '06.

At 13 yrs. This is doll hunting, I guess...

Forest is the currently undisputed boss of the house. Actually, he's more of a bully...

Harvey
used to challenge him occasionally, but Tailer is usually just too laid back to care. He occasionally gets sick of being bullied and retaliates, but he usually just lets it go.
