I kept on forgetting to ask my nephew if they had ever spotted one of their cats that escaped from their house in December.
Your talking about the most snowfall our area had seen for the month of December, bitter cold and wind in January. Plus they live in the county and farm so the chance of a cat in an unfamiliar area (only 3 months in current house) and the local wildlife-the chance for an indoor cat to survive is slim.
But good news-she popped up sitting on the windowsill.
Much skinnier (she was a bit overweight!) and very happy to be home.
No one has any idea where she was-very few homes-no one would take a cat in their house as they would presume its was a barn cat.
Simply amazing.
