I am pretty sure I have had at least one slice of pizza every day for the past week and a half.
Tomorrow I plan on going cold turkey.
The pizza I have had has ranged from frozen to gourmet to greek style to pub style.

My favorite pizza is either a wheat or multigrain thin crust with a red sauce and lots of cheese. For toppings I like chicken, chourico, sausage, broccoli, sometimes spinach and always garlic. I had a slice of chicken fajita pizza for breakfast.

What's your favorite type of pizza?

I used to work at a pizza place, so my tastes a bit odd. I like thin crust pineapple with grilled chicken pizza and I like the sweet marinara sauce at the bottom. Even better, if possible I love it with honey barbecue sauce...I was able to make it that way when I worked at pizza hut, but now I just order a regular pineapple and chicken with sweet sauce. I'm a fan of sweet and salty flavors and my taste in pizza isn't an exception to that. It's also nice with bacon and pineapple, but I rarely eat bacon now bc my boyfriend is jewish and doesn't eat it, besides bacon is just unhealthy ..

ut0pia - if you're in Atlanta, you must be familiar with Fellini's (small local chain) - best pizza in the city!! Great house salad too!

I also like Chris' Pizza in Toco Hills, they make a great Greek pizza.

Down here in the sticks where I live, it's Olympia followed by Mellow Mushroom then Johnny's. (although I was disappointed by the last pizza I got from M/M.)

I like my pizza pretty basic - Sausage and mushrooms or pepperoni. Some time's I'll be a little adventurous and get a chicken-pesto pizza. Yum!

There used to be a place called Piztros here, they had all kinds of individual pizza. My favorite was pepperoni prestige! It had huge pepperonis, kalamta olives, and mushrooms.

Pepperoni. I like canadian bacon and pineapple pizza, too. Cheese is good, too. I really don't like the supreme pizzas, but I will eat them. The best pizza I like is Pizza Hut.
Oh and at a pizza place here they have personal pan Sequioa pizza. It has Fresh basil pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and sliced almonds. Its so good.

Thin-ish crust with black olives and green peppers. Alternately, I like pizza from Vince the Pizza Prince in Scranton, PA (my hometown). Their pizza is round and thin-ish. The sauce isn't sweet, and there are a lot of spicy spices on it. They also use a mix of cheese (think american cheese and maybe colby?). It's fantastic.

I miss Scranton whenever I order pizza (or watch The Office!).

Deep dish, the more veggies the better. When I make pizza I'll literally toss any vegetable I find in the fridge on it.

Other than that I like Alfredo type pizzas and usually prefer chicken because it's not as greasy and more likely to settle on my stomach.

My absolute favorite is cheese and canned mushrooms. When I was little I got a cheese and mushroom personal pizza every time we went to Pizza Hut. Now all the pizza places only have fresh mushrooms, which I don't like on pizza. lol

Now I prefer just plain cheese.

I love a bbq chicken pizza that a place here makes. It has bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce, and it has cheese (cheddar and mozz), onion, red bell pepper, and chicken. We don't go there very often, though. Besides plain cheese, that is my next favorite.

I like canned mushrooms over fresh too. My favorite is broccoli and chedder cheese. I "discovered" it while working at Pizza Hut, and now DH and I get the the frozen pizza crusts and make one half all meat and onions (DH's half) and broccoli and chedder (my half)!

Plain old pepperoni/italian sausage ad cheese for me.
I picked one up last Thursday at a great Italian grocer instead of getting my usual at the Papa Murphy's chain.

Living out in the country mean no delivery so we either go out to eat pizza or go the take -n-bake route.

The best pizza I have ever had comes from Flying Wedge. Check out the Sicilian Express. We order it on thin (flax) crust, and sometimes add Peppadew and artichoke hearts. Seriously good, and really spoils ya for any other pizza.

Jet's pizza. Thick crust, with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms (if I'm sharing with my parents) ham, green olives and pineapple, if I'm having it myself. For thin crust, there's a little 'mom & pop' place in town called Pasquale's....same toppings as above, depending on whether I'm sharing with the folks or not, lol! They'll add extra oregano if you ask, and it's always yummy!

Ummmmm....why are you going to go cold turkey? Pizza's good for you. All the basic food groups, right?

Speaking of pizza, did you see today's Funky Winkerbean comic?

http://pst.rbma.com/content/Funky_Wi...?date=20090222

We used to like Shakey's Pizza. Don't know if they still exist, but all of them I know of are gone.

After that, we got hooked on Crystal's Pizza. This was a great place, owned by Casa Bonita. Great decorations, and provolone cheese instead of the usual mozzarella. The place is still there (Airport Freeway, Irving), but nothing like what it once was.

I like thin crust; Dottie likes it thick.

thin crust [prefer multi-grain, but not too many places around here have that, if any], white sauce [alfredo] w/italian sausage, fresh mushrooms & onions - extra cheese.

I love pepperroni and black olive pizzas. There is a place here called Magoo's who makes the best pizza. I can't have pizza anymore since one slice has way too many calories, and who can eat just one slice?
