OK so what do you all recommend,im moving in 1 month and the place im moving to is 1 year old and they have 2 cats. Will this be a problem after they are gone with the other cats and i bring my cat in? I heard males will pee on carpet, mine is a female, should i be worried that she will pee on carpet? Should i get the carpet shampooed, not sure if that will help?

Females do spray. I suggest you use a good enzyme cleaner for the old carpets, cabinet doors and other possible "marking" spots.

You could use an enzyme spray like Natures Miracle or Urine Gone. The enzyme sprays are really good and they take away all odors and stains. My one boy is a sprayer when he sees outside cats. He sprays every where but when I use the enzyme spray, you could never tell there was a cat in the house. Good luck.

I agree with using an enzyme spot treatment
You could use a blacklight & check for pee spots. Otherwise, it's most likely that she will use cheek rubs & scratch marks to establish her "mark". Not all cats pee to mark territory, esp. if they are neutered on time. Sending happy rehoming prayers and vibes
....wow, a new place to live - how exciting

Any pet store, PetSmart, Petco, you can also order it on line at "as seen on TV". Good luck.

I never needed to get a stain remover, when I used Natures Miracle or Urine Gone. Molasses, my spayer, decided to spray my white gorilla stuffed animal, needless to say it was all yellow, I thought I was going to have to throw him out, but I sprayed the gorilla with the enzyme spray, it all came out. I couldn't believe it, since then I'm never without it.
