Our cat is completely obsessed with tomatoes and I have no clue why. It is impossible for us to keep fresh tomatoes in our house b/c Nora will EAT them. She will actually jump onto the counter, grab a whole tomato in her mouth, drag it to the floor and eat it. She can eat a whole tomato in one sitting, and she does it EVERY single time we have fresh tomatoes in the house. She loves pretty much all fruits and veggies, but she won't do this with any other food. Except pears, but those are too heavy for her to carry so she just eats them on the counter when we aren't looking. I'm sure she would do the same thing with bananas and cucumbers if they didn't have such a thick skins.
Why does she do this? Why did we get the weird cat that is obsessed with fruits and veggies?? Does she have some vitamin deficiency or something? She always have access to cat food, so I can't imagine that it is b/c she is hungry.
(Oh, she has never once puked from eating fruits or veggies, so they don't bother her or anything, I'm just curious.)
