Obama is scheduled (probably here by now) for a 5 hour visit with our PM. I can't help but wonder how much can be accomplished in 5 hours.

I think Barack has spent a total of five nights in the White HOuse so far now.

Yes, he has been working awfully hard. Good thing he took his vacation before swearing in as President.

You'd be amazed. With the stroke of a pen Obama has been able to affect at least the next two generations of Americans by saddling them with massive debt, a return to the welfare state, and a standard of living that is estimated will be 30% below that of the current generation. It took just moments to do that. Imagine what he can accomplish with 5 full hours. No doubt with his charm he can talk your PM into doing some of the great things he's been doing here. Good luck!

Yes, it's good that he was able to rest up. Leading the world's greatest democracy into socialism can wear a guy out.

I just hope he doesn't talk our less than stellar PM out of all of our energy resources and that our PM will be smart enough to not sell Canada down the tubes.

I believe Americans did that to themselves by buying houses they could not afford and gas-guzzling vehicles (certainly some Canadians are guilty of this as well). The US banks are also responsible for the mortgage problems and this all happened before Obama was ever voted in as POTUS. I think he is just trying to clean up some of the mess he inherited.

By bailing out and rewarding those people that bought houses they could not afford? While the people that actually bought houses we could afford and are faithfully paying our mortgages have to pay for those who didn't and aren't? Now that sounds like a pretty stupid plan to me.

Reward the bad behavior and penalize the good behavior. Only in America

All the good Americans should definitely not pay for the bad Americans. That's just out and out unfair!
