Tonight should be very interesting. To be honest, half of the ones they chose for the wildcard I don't even remember

so I guess they didn't make an impression on me.

I truly hope Tatiana doesn't make the top 12. I can't stand to even look at her!

Agreed! She is beyond annoying.

For the wildcard, I want Matt to make it through. He's the dualing piano player from Michigan.

I think they made good choices.... YAHOO ANOOP!!!!!!!!!

I thought Jasmine sang her butt off last night and Matt did really really good too. Anoop was lots of fun and as far as Megan, if she doesn't stop doing the little twisty dance thing I'm going to shoot myself

Tatiana is so fake, don't you love how she "stole" Jorje's "think in spanish" thing?

I'm glad we're done with her!

I like Megan's singing, but yeah the little dance thing needs to stop. I don't like Matt. Overall, I think there are several good ones in the top 13. So will they kick off 2 the first week then?

None of the top 12 thrill me that much.

I don't agree with Jasmine or Megan making it. I didn't think either had a stellar performance. I didn't like Megan's at all. It was very obvious that they had decided who they were putting through before the performances.

I've decided that I don't like the new format. By this time last season you already had heard 3 performances by the people in the top 12 and had a good idea on who they were and what type of performer they are. With this format you have heard only one from most of them. It's hard to tell who is a good performer/singer and who isn't.

bring back the old format, the new one is confusing.

By now I've basically forgotten any of the ones we saw the first couple weeks. Some of the ones who sang last night I didn't remember at all.

How did they do it last year? The judges picked the top 12 and that was it? no audience voting? I can't remember what happened yesterday most of the time

I think they did it this way so that the audience feels "more involved" cause really, people are more likely to vote for the singers they "picked", know what I mean? I guess it gets the audience more personally invested

I just saw an ad for the next show, and they said watch your TOP 13! compete! Why would it be 13 all of a sudden again, and I am not really likeing this changing crap and not telling us why! As so long as it's not the crazy idiot girl Tatiana, I guess I would be ok with it, but still... What is going on?

Ok, I went to the site and they added Anoop back in? Hmmm???? Why? But, as long as it wasn't her, I won't cry!

They added Anoop during the last results show. They had him and the other guy standing up there (Matt maybe?) and told him he had made it, Anoop was about to walk off and they told him they were doing top 13 this year so he had made it as well.

It ran over time, and I've heard that some stations cut it off, so maybe that's why you didn't see it.

ohhh, it may not be so bad. I remember David Cook's "Billy Jean" last year was awesome. It might be interesting to see what they're going to do with it. Of course, I may have to break out the hot pants and/or pleather to get in the mood.

I have been watching since the competition started in January, yeah I'm addicted. They are now down to their top 13 and I am so glad Anoop made it thru, there is something very likable about him as Simon says. Tonight they sing their hearts out so we shall see.
On another note what do you all think of Kara the new judge, I don't like her at all. I never liked Paula either, for me the female judges have not been to my liking, just my humble opinion. I have always liked Randy cuz he is very honest and of course I love Simon tho he is a little too honest at times :-) Looking forward to tonight.

I'm the opposite, I don't like Randy. He annoys me no end. He's terrible with the "banter", and when he gives his critique, he pulls out one of his "catch phrases". I'd take Kara over him any day. Paula's there for, oh I don't know, comic relief?

I think Kara, more than any of the others, really understands singing.

I totally agree with you, she is definitely a know it all. Oh well nothing we can do about it except turn the mute button on when she is speaking, lol.

Have any of you printed out the pics of the final 13. I always print them out and cross each one out every week. By looking at the pics I get to know them a little more and my sister and I know who we're talking about each week

Just wondered if any of you do the same thing. I just went over to Americanidol.com and the pics were there FYI.
