No surprise at all. Not sure what the theme is for next week.

I too was not at all surprised that Michael is gone, it was either him or Scott who I thought would get voted off last night, I think Matt is better than those two. I really enjoyed Stevie Wonder, what a treat that was for me.

Megan deserved to go and I'm even surprised she lasted this long. She had an attitude I didn't like either but I too am glad Simon said what he did. She was taught a lesson, keep your mouth shut.

to me she came across really phoney. like trying to laugh and pretend she didn't care in the slightest that she was voted off, while crying.

Here's a small excerpt from a recap of the show:

Megan Joy seemed to know she was on her way out, and made her last night a memorable one. She flapped and cawed her way to her seat in the bottom three, hammed it up for the cameras throughout the night, and even told Simon Cowell at the top of the show that she didn't care about his feedback.

No pressure: The judges made it abundantly clear that Joy didn't need to feel that she was singing with anything at stake on Wednesday. "With the greatest respect, when you said that you don't care (about his feedback) ... neither do we," Simon said. No Judges' Save would be forthcoming for Joy.

I thought she was mainly emotional at the thought of being with her son again. But watching her awkwardly jerk around on stage in another horrible attempt to dance during her song last night.. it was so embarrassing to watch! Not an ounce of physical coordination in that girl. Totally reminded me of myself!

I liked Megan the first few weeks, but the last 2 were painful, especially this week. It was definately NOT the right song for her, Awful lol.

What did you all think of last night?

I still
Adam!

Allison is my 2nd fav so I hope she's not in the bottom 3 again. I didn't care for anyone else. I hope Scott goes home tonight. He's just awful.

It irritated me that they spent so much time blabbing in the beginning though and then we didn't even get to hear their comments about Adam

I agree! Adam is my favorite, and Allison just blew me away! The second to last guy (Chris?) was good also. Lil, I was very disappointed in. She sang it ok, but it wasn't anything special. I think Scott (he sang REO Speedwagon, right?) did a good job since it was the first time he performed without the piano. What they say to them is so confusing...first they tell them to "come out of their comfort zone", then they criticize because he wasn't using the piano and seemed uncomfortable. I think he did a good job considering what he was doing. Anoop just annoyed me and I can't even remember the first two.

Yeah, they have to shut Paula up and tell her not to interrupt or flirt with Simon during the comments. She's the one that makes it go over time every week. Because of that, I missed the last 5 minutes of Fringe! (both were one DVR).

If you DVR or TIVO American Idol you have to add 5- 10 minutes because you never know, I discovered it was going over and I taped Fringe so that I would get the ending of American Idol. Adam was great, whether you like him or not you can't deny this guy can sing and he's an original for sure, and Simon stood up and clapped for him, no other judge spoke after that, they didn't need too, I can't believe he did it

They didn't need a 4th judge, that's why they ran over last night. I don't like Kara one little bit and I thought Paula was bad but I think she is just overly medicated. My fav is still Lil and Danny but I think Adam is going to pull this off.
