I suppose if you had to say two good things that came of this, it's that he wasn't alone when he passed, and that it was quick.

OH little Freeway. As soon as I saw that name my heart sank. I remember seeing his photos posted and what a sweet cute boy he was. I am so sorry for your loss!

Oh Mike, I am so sorry. He touched my heart as he had so many other people. He was such a sweet, handsome, and lovely boy.

Take some comfort in knowing that if you hadn't have noticed and rescued him on that day when he was a kitten he would have had a very short life. You gave him life and love that he would never have known otherwise.
