I have one cat, which me and my family just got this September. His name is Kovu, like the lion from Lion King 2, if anyone remembers. And he looks quite like him too. He will be ten months old on the 20th, and he still acts very much like a kitten.
Kovu is a sable Burmese. We live in North Dakota, where purebred cats are uncommon, so most visitors are amazed at his rich color and his big golden eyes. He is very entertaining to be around, and anyone who meets him falls in love. Even my brother, who said something along the lines of "I don't want to get no cat!" when we were looking into buying him, is very attached to Kovu.
We have no other pets, although a month or so ago, we won some goldfish at a carnival. All of them have died off now, but when we first got them Kovu would sit and stare at the fishbowl for hours. I hope that sometime in the near future we will be able to get another cat to keep Kovu company.
