I never had a cat attack my stuff like this! Its been 13 years since I had a kitten but he is going on 9 months now and I still wake up to see 60 percent of my stuff all over the ground.
Books from the shelves, dvds, clocks on the walls, etc. I figured when I stored all my knickknacks months ago he would outgrow this, I guess not! Nor do play sessions negate this.

Sorry, but I have to giggle a bit. Just about everyone I know who gets a kitten after living with senior cats has the same complaint. You forget how active kittens can be. And he will be a kitten for a lot longer. My dear friend still has her decorative lamps put away after 6 years.

I like hutches with glass doors personally. Every last book, CD, nick-nack in my house is behind one. It's also less work to dust and more time to spend playing with the kitties. My youngest is 6, but one of my biggest culprits for knocking things off of tables is my 13 year old.

I didn't hear a question in your post so assume you are just venting a little bit? You have my empathy.

I have two cats. Persi is the pedigreed cat that I brought up from the time he left his mother. Alley is from the rescue center. You might assume that Persi is the well behaved one and Alley is the terror. Exactly the opposite. Alley never gets on anything and never has ever knocked anything over. Persi gets on everything and knocks everything over. What does this tell you?

That you've spoiled him.

Maybe your kitten is just trying to suggest a more minimal decorating style?
I agree, though, put stuff behind doors or screw it to the wall.
