I am SO angry right now. I called the DA several times today and requested that they try these 2 teenagers as adults.They said their phone has been ringing off the hook all day with angry citizens demanding they not treat this case lightly. But they are doing JUST THAT and are trying them as JUVENILES, which means that they will NOT do jail time and will NOT have a criminal record. OUTRAGEOUS. Please everyone, lets keep the heat on this so that poor Dusty and the black and white cat (don;t know his name but they found ANOTHER tape today of these same psychopaths torturing a black and white cat!!) did not suffer in vain.

If you haven't done so already please make the following calls after you sign the petition:

1. DA's office: 580/585-4444-express your outrage that this case is not being taken seriously.

2. Juvenile Court: 580/357-4881: where the "trial" will take place.

3. The mother, Sandy Glenn, who is raising these two racist animal abusers works for the SCHOOL system: 580/585-6425. Please call them to express your outrage that a "mother" raising two racist psychopaths is having any more influence over impresssionable children.

Please don't blow this off, everyone. Dusty and the Black & White cat have no voice and we cannot allow their suffering to have been in vain.

I don't know how the law works in Oklahoma, but in Michigan, I think the judge can bind this over to adult court.

I wonder if the parents have even seen the footage? They should be forced to watch it over and over again.... to see what monsters live under their roof... and since these kids are minors.. the parents should be held accountable, too.

Apparently the parents HAVE seen the footage, but like the DA they are treating it like a childish prank (a few people got thru to Sandy Glenn before she changed her # to an unlisted one and she assured them she would take away Kenny's dirt bike....for a whole week

). No concern whatsoever for her cats who were tortured!!

I agree the parents need to be held accountable....can everyone PLEASE call Ok CPS and report them? The 800# is upthread a few posts. We really need to keep the heat on this demented cat-torturing family.

You cat lovers are the best. Thank God I don't live in a world where everyone is like the Glenn family.

Many school systems are so desperate for support, they will take anyone and everyone -even demented mothers who raise their children to be animal abusers.

<sarcasm> Oh my gosh and taking away his dirt bike for a whole week. Wow, that would certainly teach him a lesson. He'll probably go play with his XBox instead. </sarcasm>

If he were tried as an adult (which he should be) someone in the prison will give him their own form of vigilante justice which is just what he deserves.

Bless Dusty's little heart and the other kitty they tormented. There is a light at the end of the tunnel for them!

I just filed a CNN iReport in an attempt to get the news organization's attention - complete with links to the local TV station's coverage. Cross your fingers that this works.

Did something similar with FoxNews. Most national news outlets will only take stories from their own gatherers.

Yes there is a silver lining to this cloud. I called today and offered to adopt either or both kitties but they told me they've had literally thousands of offers to adopt the cats from all over the world.

They said the cats had already been placed and will be in their new homes in a few days, so at least they were saved before they were killed...

On one of the videos, the Glenn brothers can be heard discussing how they are going to make a video of themselves torturing the cat , then running him over with the lawn mower. Thankfully decent people took action and saved these poor kitties. It sickens me to think of what would have happened if they hadn't been stopped.

Everyone here who has taken action, whether by signing the petition, creating the petition, calling authorities, posting on news sites, reaching out to CNN etc is pushing this issue in the right direction. I am so glad that most people are decent and willing to stand up for what is right.

I had a thought... Those boys should be forced to sell everything they own - dirt bike included - and the money from that go toward Dusty and the other cat's vet bills.

Whatever's left should go to animal rescue leagues so that this doesn't happen again.

I've just posted the petition on the two biggest online communitys of people here in NZ. We are crazy about our cats here in NZ so I'm hoping for some good support. Does anyone post on the Ebay message board [If there is one?] that would be good place to draw attention to Dusty's case.

me and BF signed the petition, we couldnt view the video and im kinda glad cause we are both all fired up just hearing about was that worthless piece of crap did. You know what id like to do? put him in a pen with some wild tigers and see how he likes being abused by cats!!!

Ok, that was rather, uh, medieval of me. Still, the point is that the kid is sick in the head, and a slap on the wrists isn't going to help.

BUt I did sign the petition! And thank you for posting one!! I really hope these boys and their parents get what is coming to them... a lot of BAD vibes The only thing i think is sad is thousands of people offered to adopt the cats that were in the films but i doubt htey offered to adopt any other cat when they were turned down

The oklahoma animal abuse statute makes the perp pay $500. $500 is probably what dear old daddy brings home in a day!

I hope the sheriff, the prosecutor, the administrators at juvie and the JUDGE all own and adore cats.
