For those of us who want to have the day off

For those of us would appreciate being able to work, no matter the day, who are unemployed or too sick to work, or have family crisis

And for all of us

It's a holiday?

I actually had to look on my calendar to see what holiday it was. I actually thought President's Day was next week. In my case, it's not a (work) holiday and I'm very happy it's not because otherwise I would be sitting here all alone wondering where everyone is at.

My son has school off b/c of President's Day. It is the first year his school district has given the kids the day off on Martin Luther King, Jr Day or Presidents Day. They have always had school on those days, even when I went there. They had school on this day last year. I don't know what changed. Even if he did have school he wouldn't be going anyway. He has been running a fever (103ish) all weekend.

Just a few minutes ago I looked in the parking lot behind my house and noticed it was empty. The parking lot is for high school students. I could not figure out why it was empty until I saw your post. Now I remember. Back when I was in high school none of us kids had cars.
