Almost 2 months ago I posted a note about a kitten that I adopted from a shelter that may have had panleak. This is a happy ending story. It all started after I adopted Abbigayle and was then contacted soon thereafter that 2 of her littermates died. They were adopted into 2 different homes before I adopted Abbi. Both kittens exhibited signs of panleuk-vomiting, lethargy, etc. before they died. So the good news is Abbi and her 3 brothers (all in foster care) had survived. Whatever it was, it probably wasn't panleuk, knowing the strong statistics that show it kills most, if not all. Abbi has had her 2nd vet appt, and is in excellent health, growing and doing great!
