Hi There,
I am new to the site. Thanks to my loving husband who has a soft spot for kitties (though he isn't the only one!), we have 5 beautiful rescue cats. Two are from a shelter and we have had them for five years. In the last year and a half we have found three stray kittens, a brother and sister around 6 months, and a wee one of three weeks last summer. Needless to say I was on this site along with others quite a bit when looking for information on how to introduce new cats, and how to care for an orphaned kitten. So thank you all for taking the time to share your love for and experiences with cats.
Herman - black shorthair, miracle kitty that we got from a shelter when he was about 9 months old. He rules the roost.
Miranda - a brown tabby with some orange tortie coming through.. very friendly though a little shy about all the new cats
Emmett - sweetest love bug, giant kitty, long hair black cat.
Agnes - Emmett's tiny sister, must have been the runt of the litter. short white hair with grey forehead spots. lots of love and personality, very vocal
Lilly - brown/grey tabby. littlest one of the brood, we found her at around three weeks old in a parking lot in the middle of the texas heat, full of fleas and dehydrated. She now has made friends with all the other kitties in our brood, and loves climbing shelves, hiding in her kitty tunnel, and giving/getting kitty hugs.
