So I still have her in my house. She is doing fine. I think she is coming out if heat, i don't hear her yowling as much. So my questions.

I have a 17 year old cat that is very content with her life, she sleeps, eats and will take a nap on you when she feels, she is such a good girl i love her to death.

Well during the day i keep this other locked in my room, so she won't bother the older one.
When i am home i let them both roam because i can referee them. They get pretty close at times and really all that has happened is they hiss at one another then go there seperate ways. Once my cat swatted at her cause she was sniffing her butt a little to long.....LOL
My older cat has taken to sleeping under my son's bed now, other than that she seems the same, but i worry about her.
I don't know if i am keeping this cat, but no one has claimed her yet.

The new cat is a little jumpy to loud noises, she might run but comes right back. Doesn't seem to like being picked up but has no problem jumping on you and laying down on you. She inists on sleeping in the bed with me and hubby.

DO you think they will ever be able to be left together alone? Do you think this will harm my older kitty's health at all. She has hyperthyroidisim and takes meds.

SOrry for the long post, i just don't wanna make a mistake keeping this other one. I mean if i do i will have to pay for testing of aids and lukemia, rabies and getting her fixed.

Thanks for any info you guys can give me. Linda
