If she keeps vomiting, she needs to see a vet. Vomiting when they are pregnant is not a normal sign of pregnancy and you should get her checked out if she continues. She also runs the risk of becoming dehydrated which puts not only her but the kittens at a high risk.

Well I heard that in the middle to end of a cats pregnancy a cat vomits? Is this true? She only has omited 2 times.. and it was around the same time vacinity..
But if this helps.. I changed her cat food.. She was eating 9 lives because of financial diffulculty.. but now she is eating Natural Balance and she vomited right after her first can of Natural balance so she might have just have been getting used to the diffrent foods? Right?

Thanks!

That is a possibility. I know when we switched brands my cats did vomit, but I would get her checked out by a vet just in case if financially possible. Better safe then sorry.

No I'm pretty sure its the food change she hasnt vomited once since! but her sister on the other hand is in heat right now ( were planning on getting them spayed at the same time, anyways she is afraid of her shadow! Never the less going outside! lol) and she wont have any of it .. she hasnt eaten it since yesterday! But the pregnant kitty eats it just fine.. ( She even though doesnt want to eat it) Isnt Natural Balance a good brand? My cats just seem not to be eating it as much as the other one..9 lives, which I know isnt good at all for there health...?? Could it be new bowls?? I got them new bowls and they didnt seem thrilled about that one either lol! .. Dont like change..I suppose,

Thanks

Hi Crystal.
I just went to check out Natural Balance's ingrediants since I had no idea about them at all. It definitely looks to be a better food than 9 Lives, at least to me. Anyway, your kitty might be turning her nose up to the Natural Balance because it might be a bit less appealing to her. Some of the lower end cat foods is kind of the same as our fast food... tasty, but not as good for us. She might just need a little time to adjust to the new food.

And I don't know if you feed her dry as well as wet, but if you do, remember to slowly mix in a little new food with the old, and continue to increase the amount of new food in there until it's all new food. Just so she doesn't get an upset tummy.
