Woohoo, springs coming because NASCAR is starting again!! Yeah, I know the season doesn't really start until the Dayton 500, but this is at least something!! DH is even coming home early, we're making a pizza and drinking beer! I'm so excited...I've been in withdraw for 2 1/2 months.

Anyone else watching?

oh man! I didn't even know it was on! Shows how good of a fan of NASCAR I've been lately
I always like to watch that though- thanks for the heads up!

I'm watching! Hoping Wild Thang Robby Gordon lives up to what he said earlier in the week, that he had a fast car and nothing to lose!

And it's 45 degrees at Daytona Beach while it's 70 degrees in Kansas City!

ummm...yeah! LOL! I like Harvick. I'm amazed that my man (Stewart) made it third, but that's the magic of Daytona. That has to be the most wrecks I've seen in the shootout though. Some of them were insane for a 75 lap race.

I was THRILLED to see my man
Tony finish third! Not bad for his first race as a team owner.

But WOW what a finish! If you watch the super-speedway races for the wrecks you definitely got your money's worth tonight.
But at least no one was hurt.

OMG, another Tony fan! You have to understand...where I work is 99% Jeff Gordon or Jimmy Johnson fans. I think Tony did great! It was so strange trying to keep track of "14" instead of "20". When the "20" wrecked, I had to do a double take....oh, that wasn't him...no? ok, was the driver okay??

It just amazes me how those drivers can walk away from those kinds of accidents.
