It boggles my mind. Everything I read about the New Deal from the 1930's and how it did not work at all to get us out of the Great Depression then, why do they, think that it will be any different now?

I just, for the life of me, cannot see where they are coming from. When has the government ever been able to do anything right. Don't we ever learn anything from history?
