She's in heat... too much estrogen in this house!

Bastet is definantly in heat.. she was wandering around the house yowling for an hour or two last nite and earlier today..

I know cats are induced ovulators.. and pretty much go in and out of heat until they are either spayed or they mate. I have a few friends who tell me to use a q-tip to pull her out of heat.. wouldnt this put her into a false pregnancy tho?

Spay will be scheduled within the next few weeks...if not sooner!

Am I right in thinking that purposly pulling her out of heat can cause a false pregnancy? Cats are more prone to uterine infections once they go thru a false pregnancy.. correct?

I wouldn't q-tip her either. Just let her run this call and then get her spayed, if that's your decision.
