Right now it is snowing a LOT, so I thought I'd take some pics for ya'll!

I know it doesn't really seem like much but it is quite deep!

Even the bunny has gone into hiding!

And here is little Mitzi, staying nice and warm inside right now

Post your snow pics peeps!

Awww! I posted snow pix a while back. We have had record snowfall here in the Detroit, Michigan USA area.

I understand snow incapacitated London... saw a story online.

Right now we have about 15 inches on the ground.

I got some! I got some!

It`s quite rare to get this much snow here because we are right on the coast. So when I finished work at lunchtime I got my manager to come across the road with me to get some photos.

She didn`t want to stay out long so after I went to the woods by myself. It was beautiful!

Yeah, I went there!

I live in the big yellow house!

The woods were beautiful!

The woods used to belong to a huge victorian manor house where the police station now stands. This is a folly that was built there. I love it!

That`s all!

Pretty pictures, but I'm tired of snow
We have from 25-30 inches on the ground now and have had about 70 inches so far for the winter. Our normal snow for a winter season is a little over 100 inches, so I'm sure we will make it there no problem, unless the rest of winter decides to have above average temperatures. I have some pictures, but can't post them since my home computer is down. I post here from work until I get a new computer.

We don't get a lot of snow here, so these are the best I can do I'm afraid.

This is the snow coming down on my car a couple of weeks ago.

And here's what it looked like the next morning. Even the pig sty my neighbors call a back yard looks good in this light with a little snow.

Finally, this is the 'blizzard' we had yesterday while I was at work.
It actually snowed really hard for quite a while, but in the end it was just too warm to do much other than turn the grass white.

Wow, Linny! Really nice pictures! I think Mr. Snowman is giving you the 'cold shoulder'.

I was going to ask that - thought it was a British term I didn't understand. Now I feel better since you don't know either

These ones are from a while ago during a blizard.

I'm going to take some more pics tomorrow and post them. Just to give an idea of what to expect, I put a 4 foot long 2x4 into the snow to measure how deep it was. That was 4 days ago and I still haven't found it.
Granted, I put it in the pile where I throw about half of my snow when I shovel, but still it's a lot of snow.

It's a building with no purpose other than decoration.

The snow has nearly all melted here too.
My advisor at uni said that in Kent they had nearly a foot of snow in some areas.

Those pictures of the woods from Jaffacake remind me of the "Narnia" movie - they are just beautiful. (That's the only part of the movie I watched)

Also, I know I'm a bit geographically challenged, but am I to assume it's very unusual to get snow in the UK?
