My cat likes to bask in the sun in the window for awhile and then jump down, roll over and stretches out so somebody can rub her stomach.

How sweet is that! Do you oblige by petting her?

Watching a cat that's so completely relaxing in the sunlight is as calming to one's nerves as a long hot bath, don't you think?

Most of the time, yes.

I pet her when she rolls over for us to pet her.

All three of ours are like that.

The two we raised from Kittens were never taught to play fight with people's hands so they let you rub them without any problems.

Our third, which I rescued, also likes it, in her case, it must just be her nature.
