Just joking, I'm sure she'll get the perfect baby for herself
But that means an Aby right??? Anything else is just a cat!

Can you tell I'm absolutely in love with my chosen breed? Or rather the breed that chose me?
I couldn't agree with you more!
Aby's!

I agree with that, many Devons that I see at shows have what I consider to be a not so good coat - a lot of very sparse areas especially around the neck - Cornies IMO have better coat, more even coverage. Sparse coat areas in Rexes can be very noticeable!

Hey you might find out today.

I checked my sisters email and nothing from the breeder yet.
She does have a tracking number of the check.

She's a brown tabby/white. But is she a Devon hybrid? Her coat is too long and not curly. My son adopted a 1/2 Devon (hybrid) from a breeder friend. He looked like a normal cat but if bred to a Devon would produce curly kittens.

That's what I was going to say, she looks to be a normal coated kitten. My devon kittens are now very bald from losing their kitten coats. Gotta love it !!!!!

If one parent is a Devon and the other a hybrid or outcross, then you will have a normal looking kitten but its carrying the rex gene.

She doesn't look much like a Devon to me but I'm still learning my Shorthairs [even though DR are my 3rd fave breed] - is she from a hybrid breeding programme?

Yeah.... He doesn't really look like a pure Devon... Here is a picture of a Devon baby kitten for comparison:

Did you check her pedigree with the breeder? Is there a mixed kitty in it? Do you have pictures of his parents?
