Please make sure to spay or neuter your cat. Unless you are a professional breeder and your cat is part of a professional breeding program, please spay/neuter your cats before they reach sexual maturity (at the age of 4-6 months). By spaying and neutering you enhance your cat's quality of life and improve his or her health. You are also proving your love for cats because in acting as a responsible pet owner you are minimizing the problem of cat overpopulation.
I know they need to be spayed, but accidents happen!!! Actually, I believe when Ashleigh(my sister) got this kitten that it might had already been pregnant, since all my sisters cats are neutered. And the kitty is an inside kitty.
It is the policy of TCS per our rules that you agreed to when you joined:

Also,
Please don't make duplicates post, they will only be deleted. I moved your earlier thread about the pregnant cat to our health and nutrition forum because that is where it belongs.
My sister actually sent the first post and I wasn't aware of it. I am sorry for the inconvience. And we did find out that some how she had gotten the kitten pregnant from the dang animal shelter. AND we do spay/neuter our cats and dogs.
You are not making my life hard, I was just pointing out that duplicate posts normally get deleted, and also if you post in the proper forum it makes everyone's life easier. Besides, you will get a quicker response that way too.
As far as you spaying/neutering, thats great that you do. I was simply reminding you of the TCS policy on spaying/neutering since you have a cat that you think is pregnant and you are not a breeder.
Are you shure she is pregnant? There are illnesses that will make the belly bloated. Has she been wormed? Are you sure of her age? Has the vet confirmed she is pregnant?
The vet said she was from the shelter, he said that is why he didn't actually do the spaying yet. I had a post up before about how bad our poor animal shelter is. It seems like the people who work there are also in poor shape.
