It's going to be a long 2 days.

Our plan is doing layoffs over the next 2 days. At this point I like to think I'm safe, but I have no idea what will happen. Either way the air is just thick with tension. People's faces don't lie & it's easy to tell the people who have already been laid off. They believe it is temporary, but it is still very hard.

It is very hard right now. I hope your job is safe. I think I maybe losing my job soon. My hours keep getting cut and people aren't calling and ordering at the call center.

I found out yesterday I do get to keep my job for the time being, but there are no gaurntees, and I will have to take some vacation time.

I live close to Wichita here in Kansas and about 8,000 people in the aircraft industry are about to loose their jobs. I just hope my fiance isn't one of them!! Half my family works at one of the aircraft plants! It's going to get real bad around here.
