Google has stepped up to the plate in the same-sex marriage debate, opposing proposition 8 and taking a stand against the ban on same-sex marriage, even submitting a "Friend of the Court" brief to the Courts.

I would imagine now the same-sex marriage opponents will have to stop using Google in protest

They officially became supporters of Prop 8 ages ago. Of course they have to given the amount of gay, bi, transgender and transsexuals etc that work there - particularly high profile ones. Google is all about fairness and equality.

Now I can feel better about not knowing addresses, phone numbers, or random facts (or looking up strange photos, haha) Yay google!
