Okay, so a little while ago i posted about my cat becoming randomly agressive lately and attacking me for no reason at all while we are cuddling on the couch. Now when we jump in bed together he starts going to town on the comforter, pillows, blankets, and sometimes my legs. at first since it usually happened in the dark while i was sleepy i figured he was just 'kneading' like cats do and didn't pay much attention. But now i have seen him do it with the lights on, and it is definitely NOT just kneading. What is up with him becoming more sexually aggressive all of a sudden? The one big red flag i see is that there has been a stray hanging around the apartment complex and sometimes you can hear it meowing at night. Even if that is the reason for my boy to become more aggressive, I am still really confused about this recent sexual behavior. he is definitely fixed, i have the vet papers from when i adopted him saying so. Is he just trying to prove his manhood to the neighbor cats?

Ironically, a friend of mine decided to adopt the stray kitty tonight, so once he's gone for a bit do you think MY cat will go back to normal? His behavior is really absurd and it makes it rather annoying to try to fall asleep at night.

That's natural behavior for many neutered males. Mine does it, particularly with fuzzy blankets. It's not aggressive behavior, just pleasure. I reason that since it's normal, doesn't hurt anyone, and makes him happy, why not?

So I wouldn't worry about it. If he's doing it somewhere you don't want him to, just lift him off gently and put him somewhere else.

Seti used to try to do it on my arm when I was in bed. I draw the line at my arm and dumped him in the floor. After a while he cut it out and has completely given up.

Albus gets intimate with blankets, too. We just roll our eyes. A couple of times, I have half-woken up in the middle of the night to find him on my leg a couple times. That's also where I draw the line, howtoholdacat, so he gets kicked off the bed for that. He hasn't tried it in awhile, unless I'm just not waking up anymore
