Oh, I hope your folks will be okay! And I hope you can find a wonderful new home for all of you to share -- this certainly would be a great time to buy, anyway. Maybe you could rent out your current home until the market gets better for selling...?

for your mom and dad...

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and prayers!

Mom had her endoscopy on Thursday, and everything checked out okay. They are finally turning the corner and feeling better. I had a friend come over to their house Thursday, and plow the driveway and clean the sidewalks, because Dad was really too weak to use the snowblower. Mom ventured out of the house today to go to Weight Watchers. She said she was down 3 pounds, but Whew!!!, that's a hard way to lose it, lol! Dad must be feeling better too, 'cause he was grumbling about the officiating of the hockey game, just like old times!

I have a friend at work who dabbles in real estate. I'm going to chat with her, and see if she can check around to see if there's anything out there that would suit our needs. At least I can get an idea of what's available. I'd rather start looking before it becomes an issue, and do it at my leisure, instead of when it becomes necessary or having to find something when desperate!

I am happy to hear your parents are feeling better. An excellent idea to look . when you have plenty of time to make decisions,

I'm glad to hear that they're doing better!
Many vibes in hoping that you'll work something out in the house-hunting department, too.

Glad to hear they're on the mend. It's worrying, isn't it? Also, a smart move to start looking while you can do it on your terms, rather than under pressure. I hope you find something that suits you.
