Princess took a ride...and gave me a heart attack

Saturday, my brother came over to put new front brakes on my van. When he was finished he loaded all my kids in the van and took off. I was sitting on the couch making cards when I saw him pull out of my driveway like a maniac….with Princess on top of the van! Heart Attack! Matthew, my youngest, tried to tell Andrew, my oldest, and my brother that she was on top of the van but they didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t listen and took off anyway.
So while they are riding around the block pictures of my Princess falling off the back of the van are racing through my head.
When Kevin came around the corner to come back to my house there was no cat on top of the van. They opened the sliding door and out popped Princess. She ran straight for the yard for a good roll in the dirt…like she was kissing the ground, happy to be on land again.
My brother and the kids had heard a screeching sound and thought it was the brakes still, but stopped the van when they figured out it was my cat. They thought it was funny…I didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t, my poor Princess! Thank God she wasnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t hurt!

Awww, thank god she was allright! How did she get from the top of the van to inside the van? Did she jump in a window?

They heard a squeaking/claws on the top of the van, noise on top of the van and stopped to take her off the top of the van...I am really glad they heard her up there or we would have been searching the neighborhood for poor Princess. I was praying for her the whole two or three minutes she was gone.

Thank god she's OK!

Yeah good job they did hear. Was there any damage to the van? ie: scratch marks?

My cats always jump in the boot of my car whenever I have it open lol.

How cute! Princess likes to jump into the van when we come home and sit in there. The other day she jumped in and refused to get out until I started the van...then she decided she had to get out of there. She is so funny! If I had had my camera with me I would have snapped a picture, she looked so cute sitting in the back seat of the van waiting to go by-by.

I don't think there were any scratch marks left on the van or any damages to it.
